“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
Many times throughout our day, we find ourselves in the midst of trouble. We have difficulties that we face and trials that seem nothing but impossible to handle. In the midst of these times, we find ourselves in moments of anxiety and fear. Even though these moments are overwhelming, we don’t have to be grappled by them. This is what Paul tells us in the scriptures of Philippians. He tells us we don’t have to worry about troubles, but in prayer and supplication, we can bring our worries to God. Peter says this in his letter, telling the church to cast our cares, our burdens to God.
1 Peter 5:7
“Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.”
I want to encourage you through the words of Peter and Paul. Seek the Lord and give your burdens to Him. He truly cares for you and I.
