I Have Overcome The World

“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”

The Bible clearly illustrates to us the extent that Christ came into this world and overpowered the bondage of sin over our lives. It also demonstrates how Christ’s overcoming the world and it’s troubles means we don’t have

anything in this world that can hold us down. The apostle Paul writes that there is nothing that can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:38-39). By His love, we can have joy.We can have peace.We can overcome all the trials and tribulation that we face. I want to encourage you to rest in these

words from Christ. Let us be filled with cheer, that comes from the joy of the Lord.
