“Thus did Noah; according to all that God commanded him, so did he.”

We see a man named Noah, who is one of the earliest prophets that can be found in the five Books of Moses.. From his first mention in Genesis 5 throughout the period of the flood (Genesis 6) and their resettling afterward. God called Noah after He had seen all the wickedness of mankind. The scripture tells us that God repented of ever making man (Genesis 6:6).After God appears to Noah after He has seen man’s wickedness and tells him to build the ark and through this He is going to preserve Noah and his family because he found grace in God’s eyes (Genesis 6:8). We come to the scripture for devotion and it tells us that Noah did everything that God commanded him. When we look at this scripture, we see the perseverance that Noah demonstrates. In our daily lives, we must be endowed with this same perseverance, as Paul writes in Galatians.

Galatians 6:9
“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”

Let us be perseverance in doing what the Lord has called us to do, and in time, we will reap in the harvest of God.
