We Agree It Is The Dearest Place On Earth
God's People on Vine Street

We believe a church today should be a location where God's People assemble to worship the Lord, serve other people, and love one another.  We have done our best to structure our church in a way where you can find teaching and preaching that will help you grow in the faith, and express your praises to the Lord alongside fellow worshippers in the congregation through singing.  We also believe a church today should be a location where a person can find help if they need it, and a location where a person can find opportunities to help if they can.  We are a place to grow in the faith, as well as a place to live out your faith in action.  We exist to do together, what we cannot do alone.

“...The Church is not an institution for perfect people, but a sanctuary for sinners saved by Grace, who, though they are saved, are still sinners and need all the help they can derive from the sympathy and guidance of their fellow Believers. The Church is the nursery for God’s weak children where they are nourished and grow strong. It is the fold for Christ’s sheep—the home for Christ’s family...it is the dearest place on earth...”

–Charles Spurgeon, “The Best Donation,” an exposition of 2 Corinthians 8:5 delivered on April 5, 1891 at the Metropolitan Tabernacle in London, England.
